Review of Events
(November 2010)
Christmas Fair
The Annual Christmas Fair was held on Sunday 28th November outside Number 108 as is by now customary. Complete with snow, it was a huge success and well done as usual to Geri, Ceciel and Teresa (and all their little helpers) for organising the event. Thanks also to all contributors - card-makers, ticket-sellers, bakers, raffle-prize givers, stall-hands, tent-raisers, goods suppliers, pancake-makers, hot chocolate providers, money-counters, snow-clearers and, of course, buyers. Congratulations to our raffle prize-winners too. We have raised over €900 for Barnardos!
(September 2010)
Summer Barbeque.
The Annual summer barbeque took place on Saturday 4th of September. Music was ably provided by Alan Dobbyn and a number of others who joined in at various intervals. Races, face painting and artwork provided entertainment for the children. There was good food and even better company. A BIG thanks to all the local businesses for prizes which were donated for the raffle who were: Browns Butchers, County Meats, Neals Fruit and Veg and the Pharmacy all of Old County Road.
and Rocca's Takeaway, Texaco and David Jones Hairdressers on the Crumlin Road.
